Privacy policy
The notification service is provided exclusively on request as a tool with which the Bank can make it possible to receive notifications free of charge when information is published relating to Unione di Banche Italiane S.p.a. and/or to some other companies part of Intesa Sanpaolo Group. It is sent by SMS (Short Message Service) and/or email to the mobile telephone number and/or the email address furnished when the service is requested. 
The service allows notifications of different types of information to be activated or deactivated by ticking the relatives boxes. Subscribers to the service may change their mobile telephone number and/or email address and also deactivate the service at any time. 
The information subject to notification is for information purposes only and does not constitute, and is not intended in any way whatsoever to constitute, a solicitation to invest, or activity to recommend or sell financial products, or the provision of any type of investment or ancillary service. Persons requesting the service therefore accept full responsibility for the consequences, including the detrimental consequences, of transactions performed on the basis of the information that is notified by the service. More specifically the Bank may not be considered liable in anyway whatsoever for any losses that may be incurred by persons requesting the service in relation to transactions performed on the basis of information acquired through the service. 
The Bank reserves the right to suspend or interrupt the service, even without any advance notice, for either all or part of the types of information available through the service as well as to change the characteristics and means of accessing the service. The Bank may also suspend or interrupt the service provided to individual subscribers. 


INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION 
Information provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 679/2016 on personal data protection, known as the “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDP) 
DATA CONTROLLER 
Unione di Banche Italiane S.p.A. (hereinafter the “Bank”) with registered office at 8 Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 24122 - Bergamo, the Data Controller of your personal data provides you, in your capacity as the data subject, with the following information.

PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS AND STORAGE PERIOD 
The Bank processes your personal data for the purposes relating to your registration for the service and for access to the notification service you have requested. 
The legal basis for processing is your consent which may be revoked at any time without prejudice to the processing carried out until the date of that revocation. 
We inform you that your data is stored strictly for the time necessary to pursue the aims for which it was acquired. 
HOW DATA IS PROCESSED 
Your data will be processed using manual and/or automated tools, following procedures strictly related to the purposes indicated above and, in any event, in a manner designed to guarantee the security, protection and confidentiality of your data. 
CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL TO PROVIDE DATA 
Furnishing us with your data is necessary in order to send you the notifications mentioned and without that information it will not be possible to provide you with the information service that you have requested. 
ENTITIES OR CATEGORIES OF ENTITIES TO WHOM THE PERSONAL DATA MAY BE COMMUNICATED 
Your data may be communicated for the purposes mentioned above to other companies in the Group, or to third parties who provide operational services or organisational, ICT, management or control services, for the relative processing. The parties belonging to the above-mentioned categories shall use data received in their capacity as independent “controllers”, except in those cases where “data processors” with specific responsibilities have been appointed by the Bank. An up-to-date list of the latter is available at all branches and on this website of the Bank. 
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS 
The Bank informs you that the GDPR guarantees the exercise of specific rights for your protection. You may exercise these rights, set out in articles 15-16-17-18-20 and 22 of the GDPR, at any time by writing to the DPO using the contact information given in this data protection notice, making sure that a copy of an identity document and your tax identification number is attached to your request. You also have the right to make a complaint to the General Personal Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
